We have an established choir tradition that spans over decades. The Ovie choir is considered one of the best choirs in Pretoria.
MIXED CHOIR
Every year, the choir participates in competitions such as the Pretoria Eisteddfod and the ATKV-Applous.
The Ovie choir usually takes part in the following choir festivals: Hoërskool Overkruin, Hoërskool Menlopark, and Laerskool Wonderboom. In addition to the choir festivals, the choir has had several invited performances, such as the Easter service, Open Day, Cultural Evening, and the Tshwane Youth Arts Festival (State Theatre).
Choir tours and camps are a highlight where choir members not only forge new friendships but also traverse our beautiful country and broaden their horizons.
An enchanting choir festival and Sacred Summer Christmas Concert are also offered annually.
