The remarkable Ovie swimmers train hard and with purpose during the swimming season.
Beginners and seasoned swimmers are coached by Christiaan Jacobsz, who develops the students’ swimming talents through professional training.
SWIMMING
The swimming team participates in various galas throughout the year. Outside of school, the Ovie swimmers compete in lifesaving, open water swimming, and triathlon competitions. The Ovie swimmers have achieved wonderful accomplishments at these events.
The swimming season takes place between January and February. The preseason usually kicks off during the fourth quarter with friendly meets.
