Ovieater is Overkruin’s own drama academy where aspiring actors and actresses are exposed to the theater industry in a unique way
DRAMA
A passion for youth drama and the performing arts is nurtured in students by a knowledgeable and experienced coach, Ms. Dionice van Nispen.
Every year, we attract a lot of attention during open day with our lively stall filled with wigs, hats, and all sorts of strange things.
Ovieater participates in the Pierneef Youth Festival, and our groups walk away with gold awards. We also take part in the Ovie cultural variety show.
Ovieater provides creative and vibrant students with the opportunity to act as writers and directors in a play that they also perform themselves. Ovieater students participate in a major art competition in Pretoria every year.
Centurion Theatre offers an interactive workshop where our students receive information about drama as a career choice. It was great fun!
